About

I am an arts worker and creative strategist who approaches navigating the art world as a process of collective problem-solving: curious and grounded in care. In the spirit of play, humor, and the belief that the right support helps creativity thrive, I founded Goblin Party in 2023. The practice offers strategic support for artists, particularly BIPOC and TGNC makers, through project management, creative direction, and administration (read: lots of emails). Since 2011, I have supported artists including Laylah Ali, Jordan Casteel, Hank Willis Thomas, Christopher Myers, Finnegan Shannon, and Nifemi Ogunro, and have collaborated with institutions such as the Studio Museum in Harlem, the Brooklyn Museum, the High Line, and Phaidon. I live and work in Brooklyn and hold a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design.

In a 2022 personality test, I was described as a helper, problem solver, and peacekeeper. My practice is grounded in these qualities and rooted in my identity as a scrappy, code-switching Black artist and creative practitioner. I bring this perspective into Goblin Party, with a deep understanding of the cultural economy and a commitment to aligning with artists’ needs and values.
